About the Department

The North Canton Fire / EMS Department proudly provides exceptional fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical response services to our community in the most cost effective way possible. As firefighters and EMS personnel, we are committed to protecting the quality of life and the safety of our citizens and visitors by quickly responding to fire, rescue, medical, and environmental incidents, and by providing first-rate public fire education and fire-safety inspections. Planning for emergency response and comprehensive training are also an important part of our department’s efforts to save lives and protect property.

Station 1

Station 1 is located at 300 North Main Street. It houses the Administration Offices, Fire Prevention Bureau Offices, 3 Engines, 1  105' Ladder, 1 Rescue, and 2 ambulances. Station 1 is manned Monday through Friday, by full-time staff of a Chief, a Battalion Chief, and 3 Fire Prevention Bureau Inspectors.
