Fire Division -Station 1
Station 1 is located at 300 North Main Street. It houses the Administration Offices, Fire Bureau Offices, and Fire Division apparatus. Station 1 is manned Monday through Friday, by full-time staff of a Chief, and a Fire Prevention Bureau Inspector, and by 3 part time Firefighters / EMS personnel.
There are “on call” personnel who respond from home or activities, to assist the station staff Monday through Friday. On weekends, when there is a Station 1 emergency, all personnel respond from their activities to the station, and then respond to the emergency in the Fire Trucks.
