The North Canton Police Department is made up of twenty-four full-time and one part-time sworn police officers, and seven full-time and four part-time communications dispatchers. The services provided by the sworn officers of the department include patrol operations, traffic enforcement, investigations, community policing and a special response team. The Communications Division of the North Canton Police Department handles telephone calls (911 and routine) and dispatching for the North Canton Police and Fire Department /Emergency Medical Services (NCFD / EMS).
