The North Canton Lion’s Club planted their first of 60 trees they will donate to be planted around the city at the Price Park ball field area today. The Cleveland Pear tree was planted in a newly created green space that will contain other types of greenery and has an underground watering system. A new drinking fountain that will feature not only a regular drinking fountain but also a bottom portion for pets to quench their thirst and a water bottle fill up feature will be installed in the Spring. Price Park ball field has been under going improvements this year that will continue next year. Mayor David Held and other city officials were on hand to thank the Lion’s Club for their generosity.
