Pride of North Canton

The City of North Canton would like to announce a new program called The Pride of North Canton. The Pride of North Canton is an award given by the City to recognize citizens and businesses in the community whose properties reflect pride of ownership and commitment to the beautification of the City. These positive impacts can be (but are not limited to):

•    General Cleanup of a Property

•    General Property Appearance

•    Landscaping Appearance

•    Home Improvements

•    Substantial Improvements

•    Property is Maintained in an Aesthetically Pleasing Appearance

Keep in mind, any improvement projects must have all required City approvals and permits. Please consult the Building and Permits Department (330-499-8223 option 4) if you are unsure if a permit is required and especially if any structures or signs are being modified.

This program is not a competition. It is simply the City’s attempt to express our gratitude for our residents taking pride in the aesthetics of our community through the upkeep of their homes and businesses.

Any resident may nominate a property for the Pride of North Canton Award by completing a nomination form and sending it to:

City of North Canton

Pride of North Canton Award

145 N. Main Street

North Canton, Ohio 44720

or emailed to khart@northcantonohio.gov

Nomination forms are available here or may be picked up at City Hall.

The Pride of North Canton Committee is made up of a team of volunteer individuals who freely give of their time, vehicles and gas to subjectively select addresses to be nominated to receive the Award.

Residents and businesses alike are encouraged to participate.

Should you have any questions regarding this Award, please contact City Hall at 330/499-8223 extension 1001.
